Fellow scion owners- I was throwing input and output codes- our vehicle has TWO speed sensors. One under the air filter, one under the battery housing. Make sure you've checked your vehicle before feeling disappointed! Replaced both and no more codes. All for $40, super super grateful!

2008 Sienna. It made the problem worse. Was getting a speed sensor P0717 signal. Replaced it with this. Not only did the error not go away, the gear shifts were erratic! Tried the Beck and Arnley. Problem solved. Vehicle hums!https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B09J5FWR2P?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

I have a 2009 Toyota Sienna FWD and I got the P0717 trouble code, which indicates a bad transmission speed sensor. The van was shifting roughly and it was clear there was a need to change the sensor. I saw this sensor was much cheaper than anywhere else so I bought it.I installed it and tested, hoping the slight difference in the sensor end wouldn’t make a difference.I was wrong. Not only did it not fix the problem, but it shifted worse than before and was erratic. I pulled it back out, cleaned the OEM sensor with some mass air flow cleaner, then reinstalled that while I wait for the OEM replacement to get here. After doing further research, I found out this sensor is the second sensor, or the NT input sensor located under the battery. It is an exact replacement and so far, is working perfectly.Just be sure to double check your part numbers because they are near each other, but they are not the same.

Ok I guess, not sure if it solve the problem or not.. it was a correct fits but who really knows… car runs, but I replaced many other parts at the same time.. I’m not say it’s bad, so if you need a knock sensor, but it via this company as they are a lot cheaper in price than an auto parts store.
