I have an engine swapped honda prelude with a T2W4 5-Spd LSD transmission and a couple days ago my speedometer went out. First thing I wanted to check was the speed sensor however due to having swapped components finding replacements was difficult. I found this part here on Amazon and decided to give it a shot, installed it today and drove for a moment and I can confirm that my speedometer is now working. Not sure for how long this piece will last since it's not OEM and all that, but as of right now I'm satisfied and I hope that this little piece will last. Thank you!

Seems to be good quality and works as it should. Only issue I had was the O-ring seal was a little fat! made it hard to slip in. With a little extra lube got it in. Works like a champ. Just as a note!! Check your connector, the plug on your wiring harness may be the actual issue as these are known to get corroded!

Electronically didn’t work! Has the WRONG ORING AND WILL NOT FIT! Needs a SMALLER Oring. Bought a import direct from local supplier you could tell right away the Oring was a little smaller piped right in the hole no problem! AMAZON AS NORMAL STOOD BEHIND THEIR SALE AND RETURNED WITH NO QUESTION!

It fits perfectly my honda accord 98 lx 2.3 l standard. It is my second time changing it, because first time I ordered from A1 auto but part I guess were defected cause even though the speedometer was moving but not to the speed of the car, and stayed like that couple of days then back to zero. This part I bought it from amazon and as soon as I installed it it worked great. That means the other part were defected.

If your speedometer isn’t working on your Honda then vtec probably won’t kick in yo. Definitely worth fixing. Part still working great and vtec works again so the ol Honda isn’t a turd. I will update if part doesn’t last long

Did not fit for my f23a4 transmission. The gear was slightly longer than the oem part. The section that holds the 12mm bolt broke off while I was trying to install it.

Put 2 of them in my car, both worked for approximately 2 weeks then went to CRAP. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!
