I bought this to trim photos. It may hold up for that. I wouldn't recommend long term use with fabric. I don't trust the plastic handle.

I had purchased the Fiskars? brand from JoAnn fabrics years ago. I just got used to lousy cutting with these, they never ever got totally through the fabric, and you had to row back and forth. When they broke I figured, well good who cares. Recently I decided to make a quilt and got on Amaazon for a long time trying to decide which cutter to get. Thanks good ness I got this one. It cuts like a hot knife going through butter. It's a whole new world. I"m kind of irritated that I thought I had good ones before, and really suffered. This is really a game changer. It's fabulous and the price was great.

To make towel toppers this makes the holes to crochet. EXCELLENT! Great feel, great quality, Works well.
