This is a wonderful product, easy to assemble on propane tank and it really heats up the area. If you are sitting on the porch in the chilly weather this keeps you toasty.

On those cold mornings or cold nights this is a must have. Simple to use and works very well. Simply hood it up to your propane take and light. Produces enough heat to keep you warm on those cold days.

I got this for my patio to keep the chill off when we have a fire. It works for that purpose on high, but you do have to be fairly close to it to keep warm. I havent tested it in real cold, but when its 40-60 out and you simply want something to keep the chill off, it works. I am told in videos etc that it will work on a 20 gallon tank for 45 hours on low, which is fine with me. I dont need it long- 1-2 hours each week. It probably wont work in real cold temperatures.

Works great. We sit on the porch with it and it keeps us very warm. Only downside is if it's windy it doesn't work as great

1. The direction pamphlet was generally well written though overloaded with safety stuff, but with this glaring exception. The images shown under "assembly" show the heater opposite to its actual configuration. The starter button is shown on the right, but in fact it is on the left. I got it put together, but it did not match the directions. 2. There is writing in all capital letter on the front of the control knob -facing outward- that is very small, in all capital letters, vertically elongated, & crammed together, I was unable to read it without a magnifying glass, BUT the settings of "HI, Med, Low, Off" are printed -far back -at the base of the knob- facing up, toward the sky and the underside of the heater. You have to almost put your face a few inches in front of the heating surface to see these settings. The settings should be at the front of the knob where they can be easily read -and must be used- when operating the heater. 3. THe heater is designed so that it sits forward of the tank to which it is attached, not directly over the center of the heater. This flaw may be perhaps less serious than the first two mentioned, but it looks as if it could easily tip over, forward, with even a small bump or jostle. This would be more likely to happen when the tank is nearly empty - and therefore lighter- providing less weight below the heater to stabilize the whole apparatus. 4. The plastic collar that turns the threaded part into the tank is floppy and loose. That makes it very hard to correctly line up the external threads on the heater to the internal threads on the tank and creates a susceptibility to cross thread. Cross threading in this connection will lead to damage of both sets of threads, and potential dangerous leakage. 4. A phone number is included in the instruction booklet to call Custoer Servce. I called twice, to discuss these concerns, and was put on hold waiting for an agent for OVER an hour. 5. I will make further efforts to call the company and discuss thse issues, but it seems unreasonable in a culture so obsessed with "safety" that any engineer -or conpany executive- would pass this design. The heater works well once you get past these problems and I'll continue to use it WITH GREAT CARE AND CAUTION. but I would never buy it again.

Working well. Lights well from a regular cigarette lighter. An extended reach lighter is preferable. Heater performance is adequate. I have been using this in my separated shop that has no other heat source. I stand about 6 feet away from the heater while working and occasionally reheat my hands heald above the heat dish and I am able to work out in the shop to keep all of the outdoor equipment running through the winter. I would purchase this product again.
