I wasn't sure how much heat this would put out, but it's more than I expected. I was thinking that I could use it to take the chill off in the garage before working on a project, but I'm not sure if there's a big enough space for it to safely use in an enclosed garage.I've been using it during particularly chilly (below freezing) evenings while grilling outside. Typically, the grill's heat will keep my face warm, but I set this up beside the grill (maybe 3-6 feet away) and pointed it towards me. I was encased in an envelope of heat, as it's pretty directional, even in an open space. It lit easily, was easy to control, and worked flawlessly.

UPDATE 1/3/25 - After posting the original review, I was contacted by the manufacturer who apologized and offered me a full refund. Having the manufacturer stand behind their product and make things right means a lot to me. That was enough for me to decide to increase the rating of this item because I know the manufacturer will take care of its customers!Original Review:When I bought it, I absolutely loved it. It put out great heat without any propane smell and was easy to use. Unfortunately, just over two months later, the ignition failed so I’m no longer able to light it. Needless to say, I am very disappointed in its lifespan.

A great part of this heater is there is no assembly. Just screw it on a glass bottle and follow the instructions for lighting it. Very easy and I was surprised at how much heat it puts off.
