I had a nice fairly expensive casting rod that somehow had an eye break-off on me and decided to give this kit a try. Overall comes with everything that you need to repair an eye of various sizes and all the glue/wrapping tape to repair. Seems fairly easy to use and the value for this kit is pretty good in my opinion compared to some others that I was looking at.Also like that it all came in a nice case to keep it all organized and together so I don't lose any of the smaller pieces.

The instructions are vague. Instructions show a burnishing tool and this kit doesn't have one. Instructions doesn't tell what ratio of resins to mix. Instructions doesn't say how to wrap or wind thread or how to lock thread. The kit has syringes but doesn't tell what or how to use them. Just plain poor instructions. Lots of luck.

Everything you need all in one place. I probably can’t count how many rods are missing tips and I’m knocking them out one by one, going to need new reels to go with thre fixed rods lol. Value no doubt, easy to use and multiple everything!

I have a few favorite fishing rods and I always try to repair the rods before I make the decision to replace them, especially when it comes to the damage of guides. I love the weight and feel of my rods so I am willing to put in the time to fix. This kit offers the kit to have the replacement of the single footed guides of the rod which is awesome. Including more items to complete the actual repair than I even expected. Plus the instructions offer step-by-step details on how to repair which were very easy to follow.This is handy for those situations where the rod breaks and you need to fix a guide or have other issues. There are no tips in this kit, but there is the epoxy, sandpaper, syringe, scissors, tape and other tools needed to get the repair done. It's a great value for the price.

Avintik gives you a complete kit including assorted tip sizes for eleven different size rods, allows you to put on a replacement that looks and performs like a factory or custom buildI'm glad it arrived fast.Back in the day when you had actual sporting goods store you could take your rod in and get the correct tip to replace a damaged one to give your rod an extension on life if the tip had been snapped off.My kit is complete with everything needed to replace the tips I have replaced and will will be replacing.instructions are straight forward.

This is really (almost) everything you need for basic rod repair at home - not enough to build rods, but perfect for replacing a few eyelets on a few rods.(I already have an assortment of rod tips but those are all that I would recommend adding to a kit like this for completeness)personally I prefer faster setting epoxy and will use my own more often than not, but overall this is a very good value.
