If you're looking for something professional, this isn't it. The headphones are really cheap so I'll be using another pair. You have to turn the tone and volume all the way up to get it to sound in tune. Tuning was really easy to do. The rosin it comes with kinda sucks. So I used my bow from my other violin because I lost my old rosin. It's definitely super quiet. Very light weight. Very pretty instrument for sure.

Came a day early, that's good.No damage to package, that's good,No defects in instrument case, that's good,Could not see any blemishes on instrument, that's good.Putting battery in easy that's good.Setting up bridge, easy,that's good.Now for the not so good stuff.The bow doesn't want to fit in the places designed for the bow, it will fit but not in the right manner.Tuning a pegged instrument is not easy, there is a lot of problems that happen . I say this because I grew up playing violin but haven't really played in the last 15 to 20 years(I am soon to be past 66) so I have experience with tuning a little rusty but know what I am doing.Got the G,D,andA,strings tuned but the E string peg has a slipping problem so I used on of the peg treatments hoping that would solve the issue but it still was slipping. Had to let the instrument rest because of a family health issue. The instrument came from a dry climate to a cold wet climate and that could be one of the reasons the peg isn't holding. So the rest to climatize is a good start. In the meantime I have ordered an other peg treatment to see if that will cure the problem. (Peg treatment will be used on my cello) If you get this package be aware of the that it a budget instrument and there will be issues. I am still wondering about the pegs they seam to be a bit short so not fully contacting the surface of the holesthey go through. If I keep this instrument I may replace the pegs . Will update this review later and may add more stars , but as of right now not to happy with the issue with the one peg.

Keeps breaking. Won't hold a tune. The strings keep snapping, and the bow is horrible quality. It is hard to get a sound out of it even for a musician. Very frustrating and disappointing.

Overall a Fine violin.The Phone jack did not work on my violin; though you can hear a little without them.The Bridge was not notched for the strings.Set up was very easy.String could be a little better....(aluminum) always sounds a little "tinny".Even though biw is a cheap modle, it works okay, and holds rosin well.Good beginners instrument for the price.

Okay so I live in an apartment and my biggest concern before purchasing a violin was how loud it would be. I had only ever tried out electric violins at music stores but of course they were out of my price range. This violin is discreet, affordable, definitely exceeded my expectations for the price, AND the accessories were a bonus! I just play for recreational practice so I can not say how it would do for every day use and performances, however it works perfectly for me and I'm sure it would benefit any musicians who wish to practice without complaints, or if they're shy like myself :)

strings were frayed on arrival. one snapped while tuning, the other started coming apart. it can't hold tuning, and the bridge keeps popping out. no guides for string placement or location.

Great sounding violin. Excellent price and fast shipping. Without amp it sounds amazing and I can practice late at night without waking up my roommates. It’s perfect for beginners and advanced.

So I got this to practice to learn how to play and when tightening a string as they come loose of course, it snapped but I knew to expect this from other reviews. This is great for the price just make sure you replace the strings. The head set it comes with is super cheap but at least mine worked to test the sound. I haven’t had much time to practice so I can’t give much more of an in depth review.
