The gross anatomy of the kidney is very well-represented in this model. The branching of the renal artery and vein are rarely shown so nicely and the capsule, cortex, and medulla look good, as does the drainage apparatus. The label for the ureter on my model was tagged a little high, near the renal pelvis, but that is a minor concern and was the only critique I could make. The adrenal/suprarenal gland could be a bit more pyramid shaped, but not a deal-breaker.

I homeschool and teach a lot of Biology A&P. Its a perfect Visual. Its good for any class and love the price point! It comes in a few pieces to put up to store and is easy to assemble. Kidney just twists on the stand. Shipped fast, A++++ seller. Thank you! Now I need the Kidney pair and Ureters
