I bought it for my new born and the straps were to thick and kind of took over my poor newborn space. She looked very uncomfortable until the day I removed them.

We used this with our Graco infant seat and it worked great. The padding helped support her head, but I think the real hero is the strap covers. When properly tightened down the straps seemed to cause a little discomfort, but these allowed us to keep her snug in the seat without any issues.

It's really soft and I love the space design. But it's very flimsy. It doesn't fit well in my car seat and my grandson outgrew it very quickly. I do love the strap covers, so his face doesn't touch the straps, they are on the soft fabric. They come off easily for washing.
