They're corks for sealing up "spit" valves on trumpets/cornets. They work as intended. No more leaks.

I’m a band teacher and these very very helpful. My only wish is that they had a sticky side. But other than that, they are great for a short term fix.

I have a 65 year old King cornet that was leaking from the water valves. Before taking it to a shop, I decided to try replacing the corks myself. It was so easy: I pried the old ones out with a small screwdriver, rolled the new ones in my fingers for a moment to compress the cork a bit, and pushed them in. Perfect fit, no more leaking, job done!

These are a perfect fit for my almost 40 year old King trumpet which I am refurbishing because of too much time on my hands because of Covid! I can still play!
