This worked just as described. It expanded into a lot of soil. I see a lot of organic matter. I am hoping there won't be any weeds. I will follow up after my seedlings sprout. If it works I would definitely buy more. Great value.

Great for seed starting!I like this better then anything I ever used for starting seeds.Had to cut my block with a saw but i didn't mind i was cutting a 1 x 3 inch cut that filled 12 1x1 inch trays. It really expanded and wasn't messy. I did cut the block in a box because that was messy but again i feel it's worth it because this stuff works.

This coir is the best value I have found in coco coir. The price is right!I mix some of it into the soil of everything I plant. Here in super-dry Arizona, the water holding properties make the difference between thriving plants and pathetic plants. I have to water less often and it keeps the soil more consistently moist but not too moist.

Wow! This stuff is AWESOME!The first thing I liked about it is that it once you add the water and put in your pots...it;s not messy like the soil you buy in the bags. I added the gallon and a half just as the instructions indicated, and it turned into this easy-to-use, nutrient-rich potting soil. The only question I have is if I can store the extra and use it later...will it re-hydrate well and be usable? I'll come update this after I try it.

Looks like standard compressed coco coir, but the thin plastic had torn during shipping so some of it crumbled off and had to put in a container right away. Not a big deal but for a brand that tries to look sustainable they should think about using something other than plastic wrap that doesn’t function well

I have worked in greenhouse, owned 2 floral shops and a green house for 30 plus years and this is the best seed starting product I have ever used, package looked sort of small untill I opened and processed it, HUGE amount when wet. my geraniums were up in 3 days. 100% sprouted, lantana, gerberas, petunias, rudbeckiaalso up. no bugs or mold

Wasn't sure what to expect from a compressed block of dirt, but when you add water, it REALLY expands. I used it with some castor seeds, and 44 out of 50 seeds have sprouted and are doing great in this soil.

Amazing product! I planted tomato seeds on 2/25. It's 3/3 and I'm already seeing them sprout up. I'll never buy plants from the nursery again if this works out.
