I never thought I would be "needing" a multi-tool trowel, but when I saw this I thought it might be handy. I was right! When it came in, I had to hone the cutting edge. It won't cut anything when you get it but that may be for safety reasons. Works well now though. While I was at it, I also put an edge on the digging part as well to help cut through roots and such while digging, but I do that with all my shovels. It works great in the garden and that's probably where it'll be used the most. This company has a nice, light, portable, foldable camping shovel which I also own and use while camping so this little trowel will be my dedicated garden companion. The saw actually works great as well as the nail puller. It's very sturdy and I really like the ruler on it. Very handy. I'd definitely recommend it to someone who uses a trowel frequently.

I bought it for taking soil samples during field work. I also use it for digging small pits if I have to go to the bathroom in the back country. But I loved it so much I got one for landscaping too. I love the sharp edges and the ruler on the shovel face. It’s awesome and sturdy. Great buy for the price.

I like the overall look, quality, and design of this tool. Its paracord-wrapped handle is comfortable, yet provides good grip. The blade is strong, and although has serrations, isn't extremely sharp to the touch. I would imagine it could be sharpened, but I would just view it as a last option saw. The other tools including the nail puller, and hex wrench also work as you would expect on a tool of this size and length. It moves and digs into dirt well, but keep in mind it is not a huge trowel. If you're going to be doing larger products, I would consider the 11'' model as well. Overall a great value for the money, and it has a lifetime guarantee!

For many years I backpacked with an orange plastic digger for burying waste off trail ( which I wish more hikers would do!)This tool is far superior for the purpose. Very sturdy and durable for digging in tough ground, and has other uses as well.An excellent tool, and very highly recommended!

We took this shovel on a lengthy roadtrip and it was AMAZING. The shovel is durable and lightweight but still works very well. It's a great shape to cut easily into the dirt, so it worked super well for our whole trip. Highly recommend this as an addition to your camping set!

If you’re in a pinch in the backcountry, better have this thing in your pack… surprisingly great at digging in tough soils/weeds/rocky dirt

Lightweight and fairly compact. I didn’t need to use it (a good thing), but it seems like it’ll hold up fine. Nice to have in case needed.

I bought this shovel for my wife to use in her flowerbed. it is very durable and very well made. I tried intentionally to bend it and put it across the edge of a cabinet and tried to bend it. it is very strong.DID NOT BEND !! I like the Serrated edge it can be use to cut small roots that may be in the flower bed. There is depth marks so you know how deep to dig for bulb's. This little shovel is very well made and very well thought out. Excellent buy and very happy.
