This thing is ridiculous. It’s total bonkers. I absolutely love it. The people who designed this obviously use their own products and you can tell. This thing is just obsessive compulsive disorder to the max, in a good way. Every single tiny detail is well thought out and considered. It’s not just the excellent materials but the way that they are put together to create a functional harness that essentially is perfect. There are attachment points and side pockets and tension adjusters. But the fabric and the anti-sweat panels are just extraordinarily well-made and well designed. It’s comfortable to once you put this on and tighten it down it’s easy to forget you’re even wearing something. The main pocket is some kind of microfiber or soft fabric. Doesn’t feel like any of the rest of the gear. The internal pockets are handy as well but the main feature of course is a binocular harness. I have no problem dumping a pair of Zeiss or Svarovskis in this thing. You may think it’s expensive but considering what it’s designed to protect, it’s actually quite a good value. The internal tethers let you ditch the often awkward binoculars strap for a quick detach nylon bungee that will secure your binoculars so even if you drop them, they won’t hit the ground.I could spend a week going after every little stitch and detail about this thing. It’s designed for a quick one-handed operation, fast deployment, and excellent security and protection from the elements. But nobody will read it so let me just say this thing is absurdly fantastic. I rarely get an item that just makes me chuckle and smile and how amazingly well-made it is. This is one of those few items.Put it in perspective I have a couple of harnesses that are considerably more expensive than this one and not nearly as comfortable or nice.A couple other highlights are the magnetic close the pocket on the back panel where the anti-sweat foam feature is and each adjustable strap has an elastic tether to keep any stray bits of nylon from hanging loose and potentially catching on something. This thing just makes me happy.This is what you get and can only get when your products are designed by people who obviously use them.If I could give it 10 stars I would.

I really like this binocular bag. It works great for bird watching or hunting. I have a medium Badlands binocular bag as well, and the size difference between the small and medium isn't very substantial to be honest. The design works very well. It has a strong magnetic closure to the main compartment where the binoculars are stored. It is able to be accessed very easily and quietly which is especially nice when hunting or birdwatching. The overall pack is made to be used even in rugged conditions. The material is good quality and water resistant. I really like that the bag and straps are well padded and mesh for maximum breathability. Overall, this is a very well made, comfortable binocular bag.

Definitely would buy a marsupial gear bino harness or something other than this.

Pros: Quality materials, Meticulous construction, Thoughtful designCons: ExpensiveThese are top shelf chest rigs. From the materials to the time that went into the design. I think if you set off to find the best binocular chest harness and you found this one then you may have succeeded. These are nice and I think that there is a noticeable difference in these and some of the others that I have seen which would make these stand out. This one especially. Even though this model is a little bit less expensive I actually like the features on this one better.This one was also a little bit more reasonably priced. I still think that its a bit over price. If it was just a little more sensibly priced this easily would have been an easy 5 star review instead of the hard thought out one. It's hard to save the hunt legacy when we out price so many.

This pouch holds binoculars securely, operates quietly, and is designed smartly. The tension for the primary closure is adjustable and allows the user to make binoculars easily accessible or ruggedly secure. The magnetic closure pocket behind the main compartment is large enough for a battery backup or a cell phone.Accessory pouches are available, but are quite expensive for what they are. The attachment points intended for these accessories will allow using other standard pouches; the biggest difficulty being able to find ones small enough to not be in the way.This pouch is better than my Leupold harness and I imagine it will last for a long time. It’s made well and designed such that I shouldn’t feel the need to replace it.

Badlands is well known for top quality hunting gear and this binocular harness lives up to that reputation. I got the medium size and am glad I did. My binoculars are on the small side and the harness is snug. This new bino harness is right there with the best. Fully enclosed, no magnets, molle attachments on the side and bottom, can even put the d loop on a bottom hook while glassing. Badlands has several accessories and attachments for this model too. I’m looking forward to elk season this fall, this will be a great addition to my gear.

I like all of the pockets. This has so many pockets that you can take everything you want with you. The molle attachments are a great addition, as it lets me carry everything I want all in one pack. The straps are comfortable and easy to adjust. The materials are all top notch. I knew this was going to be awesome when I saw it was a Badlands product. You can tell that they put a lot of thought, research and development into this harness System. Knowing how costly binoculars can get, this is a great investment to keep them safe during travel. It is worth every cent.

This thing is utterly amazing quality, I’m so impressed!! I actually grabbed this for my husband for military stuff, and it could work so well for that! We’ve chosen not to use to use it for that; it’s too nice to sacrifice in that way! It’s perfect for heavy duty use, hard wear and tear. Pockets and snaps, this thing has it all! You won’t be mad about this!
