Other than "cooks in minutes" on the outside of the box, there are no inside usage instructions, tips, guide, menus or handling recommendations. Admittedly, it's fairly intuitive to use without instructions, but some guidelines would have been appreciated (and also appropriate). This potato cooker is for use in microwave ovens only and is dishwasher safe for cleaning. Made of sturdy plastic, the pieces fit together perfectly and there are handle "snaps" to keep the unit assembled and in place while cooking.I started by placing 3 small-to-medium sized Gold Idaho Potatoes on the base and set my microwave for 5 minutes. At the end of five minutes the potatoes were hot, thoroughly cooked and tasted great! I've heard that potatoes can sometimes explode while microwave cooking, so I vented the potatoes first by puncturing with a fork prior to cooking (however, without instructions, I just did this on my own). The potatoes did not explode during the cook cycle. When removing from the oven, the plastic side handles were a bit hot, so my recommendation is to take the cooker out of the oven wearing oven mitts or some type of protective gloves--or at least, holding a napkin or paper towel.Per the online description, cook time varies between 5 and 10 minutes, depending on the size and number of potatoes used. It may take a bit of trial and error to determine what works best overall. I got lucky from the get-go. The packaging resembles "As Seen on TV" product, although that is not indicated anywhere on the box. The unit is nicely designed, and I would guesstimate that it would probably hold about 4 large potatoes or 5-6 medium sized potatoes at one time. It can easily be hand-washed with warm water and mild soap and detergent. I found it easy to clean.Overall, this is a nice product to have and is certainly faster to cook than an oven-baked potato, which can take up to an hour in a conventional oven!Recommended. Made in China.

It’s good for potatoes ,sweet potatoes , yum . Easy to clean ,dishwasher safe .size is good .it can fit large 4-5 potatoes .i use for my other frozen vegetables too .
