I have sciatica, and my body is very very out of balance. Specifically my right hip flexor and hamstrings are tight, and my abs on that side . . It's like they don't exist. I've been in and out of physical therapy for years. I've read books about facilitating the mind muscle connection to try to tackle my health problems. I tried pilates in the hope to connect to my core, but couldn't do any of the exercises without hurting my back, but thankfully it did put me onto the oov. The Oov allows my body to lengthen that psoas, in a way that has never been possible before, and suddenly everything else can start engaging in a better way. I've only been using it for 2 weeks, but the progress is soooo impressive. I feel like I could write a soliloquy about the damn piece of foam, but suffice it to say I don't know if I ever would have been able to reconnect with my core without this thing. I will update as time goes by and hopefully the progress will continue to be amazing!

I am a 27 year old woman who works a lot of odd jobs some of which are physically demanding, I am a yoga teacher and have heavily indulged in climbing, cycling, and weight lifting depending on the time of year for the last 7 years. I've had to give up climbing to keep my shoulder from falling apart, cycling is difficult due to a weird strain in some connective tissue in my right leg, my right hand experiences numbness I'm guessing from the aggravated shoulder pinching some nerve, and I've thrown my back out not once but twice doing mundane tasks. Long story short, my body needs help on a myofascial level. A friend introduced me to this product and I could feel a huge difference hours after spending just a few minutes on an Oov - I regained sensation in my right thumb which I hadn't properly felt in weeks after just one 5 minute tutorial. I ordered one as soon as could despite the price-point being a little high for my income, it felt like a sound decision. Incorporating a few minutes on the Oov before and after work has made a world of difference in my aches and pains and I feel this deep internal relief that I have never ever felt. My back feels better, my core is engaging in a deep way during my exercises on the Oov which I find to be challenging to do without it, and shoulder feels loads and loads better. After spending a few minutes on it exercising and stretching I feel physically better than if I had done an hour of yoga. Not to say yoga isn't the bomb, but adding this to my busy life has been a true blessing. My friend that recommended it said once he started using it daily he felt like he "leveled up" and he broke through to a new grade in his climbing. The only thing we changed and added to our routines was the Oov. 10/10 would recommend.

I have an instructor so I can use this properly. Also I am sure there are on line instruction. Exercises the whole body

I love the Oov and how versatile it is. I use it regularly with my MELT and Pilates practices. Soon after I bought the it I was surprised to find my dog's (Lab mix) hair clinging to and woven through the soft foam skin! I spent hours with a tweezer pulling long strands of what seemed like porcupine quills from my poor Oov. Dog must have thought it was HIS toy and had also pawed it slightly, tearing the surface. Lesson learned, passing it forward, KEEP OOV AWAY FROM YOUR PETS! :)

I love the Oov. It’s the best piece of equipment, ever. I am particularly impressed with the improved coating. It grips just enough to prevent slipping, and keeps the Oov squishy but not too soft.

I have two "fused vertebrae" in the lower back (which means they cartilage is one third of what they should be, and hence they move together) since 25+ years, and recently they had an impact on the higher part of the back (as they need to flex more since the lower part is fixed), and it is terrible.Now, this cant solve my problem, but it helps a lot to relax all the backbones, and really is a game changer that improves my life quality.
