I'm not a boy and not a kid but I've been looking for a long pair of slippery boy shorts to wear under my bathing suit flowy top. I wanted swim shorts which were long (almost to my knee) and which did not have any visible logo on the lower hip or leg. These do a wonderful job of that as the logo is up top by the waist.I'm 5' 4" and weigh 135 and these fit nicely on me. I wanted tight, not baggy and this works perfect too. They are extremely comfortable and fit snuggly but with breathing room. Lycra works well, UPF 50 + is a nice attribute and they are slimming as well. If I find I need another pair, I will buy these again.Perfect for boys or smaller women.... I absolutely love them.

Got these so that my daughter would have more coverage, the swim shorts she had were just too short. She wears this over a once piece and it fits perfectly. She says it's really comfortable to wear and she feels more comfortable with it being longer (just above her knees). The fit is perfect for my 10, nearly 11 yr old daughter. She liked the teal color stripe detail.

I have 4 kids in competitive swim, 2 boys so I'm very familiar with jammers. My son typically wears a size men 28 in Speedo & Dolfin brand. I thought I'd take a gamble with these in XL because based on the size chart they're on par with his typical size. These are HUGE!! Huge in the waist & legs. In fact, I thought they sent me an XL in adults. They are also not as thick as our other brands. I would not recommend.

So, I am not a kid by any means, but there was an XL size that actually fits me well. I am tall and skinny. These feel tight enough that they won't fall off and not too tight in the waist. They are plenty long and almost go down to my knees. These have no pockets (which means you won't accidently jump into the water with your wallet/electronics on you).

Both of my boys do swim team. One has a 29 inch waist and the other has a 32 inch waist. I bought the XL size. It is way too big for the 29†waist. I had my 32†waist son try it on and he said it was too big for him as well. They also don’t like them quite this long in the leg. But that’s just their personal preference. One also thought the material was not as comfortable as his other swimsuits. If you purchase this I would err on a smaller size.
