The quality of this rack is extremely low. There are also 20 pieces you'll need to assemble. Each part has a sticker on it with a number and you'll need to remove the sticker and the sticker residue after assembly. The fabric bag is also very slouchy and sags. If you're not interested in a vesting a lot of energy in assembling a poor piece of furniture don't buy this.

You have to assemble this. Pieces 1 and 2 were a little harder to assemble as the holes were not lined up perfectly. What's disappointing is you can't find out while it's completely assembled. You have to remove the bottom velcro. And even still, it doesn't fold up nicely.

[Feb 2025 - My unbiased review of Aetherika's "Bamboo Luggage Rack for Suitcases with Storage, Foldable Suitcase Stand, Sturdy & Space-Saving Luggage Stand for Guest Room, Bedroom, Hotel (Walnut)"]I was interested in trying this luggage rack for our guest room.When I opened the box, all the parts of the rack were there, and also all the screws (plus one extra of each screw). However, it was supposed to include a hex key/Allen key to assemble all the parts, and there was no key. I checked everything twice. Luckily, one of our own keys was the right size so I was able to build the rack without having to contact the seller or buy a key myself.The rack screwed together OK, but each of the straight pieces and the round rods are made of two pieces which must be screwed together, and two of the horizontal round rods ended up looking a bit wonky - not straight. However, the top fabric tubes of the 'shelving unit' slide onto and cover those round rods so their slight bend isn't really noticeable after that.Once it's fully assembled this luggage rack looks OK, but not as well made and neat as the photos. ALso worth noting, it cannot be folded up with the shelving unit attached properly. You must undo the six hook & loop straps around the lower round rods so you can fold up the fabric shelves. and close the rack.

Feels/ looks cheap. Assembly was not hard but too hard for a simple luggage rack that could come assembled. Also doesn’t fold easily. “Shelves†are comical. Returned for classic luggage rack that comes assembled and folds easily.

Most household furnishings require some assembly, some more than others. When things go well, you experience neither confusion nor frustration during assembly because (1) all parts are accounted for and well tooled so they fit together properly and (2) the directions are written clearly. At the end of it all you feel a sense of accomplishment and have a useful item.In this case, the problem was with the tooling of the parts. If the tooling is poor and the parts either don't fit or are of poor quality and break off during assembly, you wind up frustrated and disappointed, and left with an unusable item, which was my experience with this luggage rack.Assembly was physically awkward to manage in places and required paying very careful attention to the details in the directions and the orientation of the parts in the diagrams and I got more than half-way through when a part that I'd already put together broke off in a way that it could not be reattached, making it impossible to complete the assembly as it was a crucial load bearing part.Two other issues of note were (1) the off-gassing odor from the vinyl interior of the fabric storage layer and (2) screws that had already been adequately tightened -- not overtightened so as not to split the wood -- kept coming loose and needed to be tightened a couple of times during assembly, suggesting they were spinning and not catching.At this point, it became clear that assembly was impossible and I'd just wasted 40 minutes of my time and had nothing to show for it but a pile of useless material and feelings of frustration and regret for purchasing it to begin with.

Looks good and it was easy to put together. Happy with product.
