I just recently moved and I banded a lot of tools and Boxes since they were heavy. I also used it to keep large piles of Foam cushions and all my wood piles. All was easy to do and boy did it make things secure. None of the boxes or wood piles were damaged. It also makes a nice closure for storage items. Simple to use and has the strap cutter built into the band tightener.

I don’t really have a commercial need for this tool. But I do have times where banding or binding is necessary. On those occasions, I always would have liked to have something like this tool. Now I do. The process of using this tool is not difficult to learn. The product works exactly as it claims. In testing, I had absolutely no issues with its use.I used this to pack/secure items during a move and it worked like a charm. The only caveat is that the clips that come in the kit need to be placed on the straps before using the ratchet (tensioner) tool. The clips are not open to allow you to slip it on after tightening the straps unlike other manufacturers. If you can remember to put on the clips before tightening, you will be happy with this kit and its price.The tool itself is heavy and solid. I would not expect this to fail anytime soon. However, there are signs of rust and corrosion out of the box on the tool.I appreciate you taking the time to read this. All in all, as long as you learn the proper use of the tool, after some use, you will be able to bind and strap more quickly. The clips have to be placed on the straps before you tighten it down. But you could probably just get different clips. Very pleased with this tool. Hope this information was helpful. [4 Stars]

With a little practice it works well. Better for larger packages, not for packages.less than 6 in.

Everything is exactly as advertised. The only issue that I had was finding a way to store everything together. It would of been just amazing if it came boxed up instead of in a bunch of cheap clear bags. I have been using the cardboard box it arrived to keep it stored in but everything included has more weight than the box can hold, so it's all torn up. The lost most of the buckles because of it.

I have never used one of these strapping tools before so I didn't know what to expect. It just works, and it seems like it's made to last. I load pallets worth of products quarterly, and I've always relied just on stretch wrap. I ordered this to make my pallets more stable and secure. After testing it, I have zero doubts.The strapping provided seems really durable to me. So do the metal buckles. I tested it on a stack of broken down boxes to store in my basement, and I saw no indication that the strapping or buckles could break. The buckles didn't bend or go out of shape in any way, and I applied a lot of tension. The tool makes that easy to do.The tensioner tool is heavy metal. It ratchets and cuts smoothly. Because I hadn't used one of these before, it took some studying of the instruction flyer to get the strapping threaded into it correctly. I think the images on the flyer should show both sides of the strapping and the buckle at the center, so you have better overall perspective for how to thread the tool. But after figuring it out, I can't say that the images are bad. For a newbie, it would be helpful to have the complete picture up front.One warning. If you are new to using a tool like this, it's easy to accidentally cut the strapping before you're ready to. If you do that, you'll have to start over. It will trim the strapping too short to continue ratcheting it down. You'll want to practice with it.Another warning. It's also easy to accidentally pinch a finger until you're more comfortable with how it works. You might want to wear gloves at first for the ratcheting and cutting parts of the job, at least until you get a better feel for the tool.It's not a cheap tool. But I am definitely not disappointed. Quite the opposite. I'm very comfortable with the price because I believe it's a good investment in something that's going to work properly and last a good long while.I am an Amazon Vine reviewer, which means I did not pay for this product up front. However, I do pay the IRS income tax on the value of products at tax time. So they are not truly free to me. The IRS considers it income. I try to create reviews that are helpful to prospective buyers based on my own experience. Your mileage may vary. I have never given a good review of any product that didn't deserve it. I believe this tool and the whole kit deserves it.
