I used these straps to band together five disassembled garage shelves (HD Poly 5 shelf & tubes) during our move and they held perfectly. Any box or tub that I strapped with duct tape just melted in the back of the hot semi truck. Only this blue banding held up to that environment. I was initially nervous about the plastic tension buckles, but they are stout and strong - just as effective as the metal crimp clips used in commercial banding. This was one of the best things we purchased as part of our moving supplies. Great value for the money, and plenty left over for other uses.

Very sturdy and works well once in place, however it can be extremely difficult to tighten, especially if you cut the ends short before tightening. I've used other bands in the past that used a mechanical device to tighten - that would be so much easier. Trying to tighten by hand, even with gloves on, can be really tough. It's hard to get a good grip as well as the needed leverage to pull on the ends without the band moving as you pull.

Going through a move, and we had some boxes for TVs and other valuables that were a bit loose when secured with tape. We did not want any chance of those opening and came across this product and decided to give it a shot as the price was excellent and we didn't need any special tools to use. Once you get the hang of how much extra strap you need to easily secure through the plastic hold, it is incredibly easy to use. All of our boxes do not budge when lifting and I have a lot more peace of mind that our belongings will be safer on the trip.

There are no instructions in the box or on the web page for the blue strap. However if you go to the yellow strap page there is a video showing how to use. It should not be that difficult to find the instructions. Once I had the instructions it was not too difficult to figure it out. These straps do the job but it's impossible to get them tight. I used channel locks on both ends and pulled as hard as I could and still was not able to make them as tight as I wanted. For lightweight use they do the job but if you want to really tie something down these are not for you.

I used these straps to secure several items in a recent move, including a dozen picture boxes of artwork. They work very well. Once you get them tight, they do not slip. Also, I felt at ease to use them freely because the kit comes with a lot of strapping and buckles.
