I have been reading some of the reviews and a lot are lot about how they could not get them to it radio and not charging up,It must have been some older radios or maybe not gotten the bugs worked of these same one, whatever the case mine is fitting and working fine and seem to stay charged and recharging fine. I do not try to abuse my equipment,but I maybe a little rough in what I do,I,ve used them on motorcycle ,took them back packing ,and some times drop one and so far working fine.I also find the radio easier to hold on to with the longer battier case.If you had one before and had issues with them maybe try again. I have never had trouble customer service on a refund or replacement as long as I was inside the limits of service

I it then for the Barry life and so that the radio would work with more radio holsters. Most are designed for a tall radio not the short squat radio that it is with a standard battery. Fit my chest harness great after that. The pictures are after sitting overnight in about 15-20 feet of freshwater. Ironically the radio seems fine but the battery is hammered!

Bought for my UV-82HP. I was getting 12 hours from the original battery on high power, I'm now getting over 18. Fits perfect. Great value for the money.

Fits in my UV-82HP better than the one that came with the set. I like how it increases the length; feels better in the hand and lasts much longer. You can charge the spare by itself, which is quite handy...

This battery gives me around double the battery life of the standard battery. It also increases the size of the radio. Fits perfectly and seamlessly on the radio and looks great. The size makes the radio easier to handle and doesn't add great deal of weight to the radio. A "must have" battery for extended trips in the woods.

Haven't performed a long term test yet but when it arrived I charged it fully charged and identical uv-82 with stock battery. Set both to the same volume and set to monitor 2 very active police channels and jump to an FM radio station in between transmissions, with fhe flashlights on just for good measure lol. Took over 12 hours for the stock battery to die in this configuration, once it actually shut off checked the extended pack and it was still showing full and going strong! So works as advertised IMO! There is slot of speculation about counterfeits right now and this is GENUINE again in my IMO

Not sure why the first two words of the description calls it a "2 Pack", as it is a single battery in the box. I'm sure the battery functions fine, but should change the description to be accurate.
