Good quality, seems sturdy. Have had it for months now and still looks brand new. Also was easy to install. I like that the top half can unscrew easily so it makes it easy to get flag on or off.

I was a little concerned about this pole being in multiple pieces that would screw together. I'm happy to say so far that the flagpole is working great! We've even had some windy days where I wondered if the pole would be bent; however, it is held up just fine. The ability of it to prevent the flag from getting tangled works very well. The flag has not tangled once in the couple of weeks that it's been up. So far, very happy with the purchase and would recommend!

We've gone through many different porch-style flag poles over the past 50 years, and most of them had design deficiencies which resulted (after a period of extended use) in the flags disengaging from the attachment points on those poles. Many of these flag poles, albeit superbly constructed, had design deficiencies with the hooks (or whatever they're called) that attach to the grommets on the flags. As a result, they would eventually come loose or break off.Secondly, all of these flag poles came in only one length - one long, solid piece (not that this is a problem in itself).Now enter this Barcetine American Flag pole. When it arrived, we were surprised to see that the pole portion comes in parts, allowing the user to screw in the lengths needed for their particular set-up. The longest setting was a good 1-2' longer than the typical "one size" flagpoles that you normally find in stores, so this was a welcomed addition. The flag pole pieces attach firmly and screw together.The brackets and clips are very nicely made and are highly functional, and it is apparent that once the flag is attached, it's not going anywhere - it's that well made.Finally, rather than your standard silver, wood toned, or gray color - this flagpole is a nice black design (which is different).All in all, we've found this unit to be one of the nicest porch style flag-pole designs that we've seen and we're glad we found it on Amazon.Thus we're giving it 5 stars!

The pole assembly was easy & high quality. Just wish the carabiners used to attach the flag were higher quality. They feel like plastic & not metal. One of the holes that the retention screw goes into stripped the 1st time I put a screw in it & before it had any tension on it. The other one still works though.

I love the clips on the flagpole. They make it easy to take the flag on and off. The flag still gets wrapped around the pole on windy days. Made from sturdy material.

This is a great flagpole. I switch out my large flags with seasons and this is a great flag pole. It withstands the elements and was a cheaper price than big box stores.

Chose this one because it is all metal construction and it doesnt disappoint.The wall plugs and screws are surprisingly good size although screw heads strip easily so be careful if using power screwdriver.Ive saw criticism of the wingnuts damaging the flags, but as the ones for securing flag to pole are plastic and round - not sure how the damage is caused coz the pole sits at either 45 degrees or horizontal.The wingnuts that secure the pole to the bracket are metal - so i guess if you put a very big flag on it there is a chance it might snag, but personally i dont think they look right with too large a flag.
