This was bought to replace a flagpole that always losing parts. This comes in 4 pieces and each piece screws onto another. There's a hook to attach your flag. It's a bit longer than my old one so I really that because the flag flies higher. I tried to get one locally, but they were either way more expensive or cheaply made. I'm impressed with this because it's nice and inexpensive.

So, the listing claims this flagpole is automotive rated. I cannot begin to put into words my disappointment when this flagpole failed.On the first day of use, I secured the flagpole to my hitch mount, and started going down the road. During town driving, the pole worked just fine. Upon hitting the highway on ramp, I heard a loud snap and looking in my rear view mirror. The *plastic* clips that hold the flag to the pole had broken, and the pole itself was swinging around like crazy!I pulled onto the shoulder to inspect the damage. Thankfully the flag was still attached and fine. But, not only were the clips broken, the flagpole had bent significantly. I hadn't even hit 50 mph when this happened.So, if your definition of "Automotive Rated" is 30 mph and below, this flagpole would work great for you. But for people who actually plan to get anywhere on time, this flagpole will bring you nothing but disappointment.It's a shame, really. I had bought two flagpoles, hoping to fly two flags on the back of my vehicle. I resorted to building my own flagpoles using materials from Home Depot. Steel plumbing pipe works great, if anyone plans to build their own.The flagpole itself is made from paper-thin aluminum. It folded like a blanket before I hit highway speed. The clips that attach the flag to the pole are made of plastic.This flagpole would be more suited for home use. It's disgustingly misleading to market this as an automotive rated flagpole.

They are nice but I put them in my flag pole holder for my truck they do good but bend at like 60mph ha they are perfect for your house

I am very pleased with my purchase of this flagpole. Previously, I had a wooden flagpole and due to the weather, it would warp plus, the flag was always wound up in the wooden flagpole. But the way these grommets slide, my flag has been flying perfectly since purchased this flagpole. You can move the grommets to different size flags and because of the metal material it will never wear out. I highly recommend this flagpole.

This flag pole is adjustable by just using the lengths you want. I hang my flag horizonally so it was super easy and now the flag does not twist in the win.

Went together great. Good build but this was recommended when I bought my vehicles trailer hitch flag mount. 20 mins into driving on the highway the pole bent in half. So don't buy for moving vehicle use
