It works very well due to its basic design. Sometimes the simple things are the ones that really work best in their application. This is not a fancy lock. This is designed for environments with a finish and practical in places where nothing else is required than to be able to protect something basically and without assembly complications. In short, I would recommend them given my experience after having used it for its simple assembly and impeccable work.

This is one sturdy lock. I used it as a dead bolt on my motorcycle garage and it works great! If I ever need to use another heavy lock on a door, this is what I'm buying.

This lock highly depends on your door thickness and it barely worked size- wise for us. However, the deal breaker is the screws. The screws that are included cannot go through the holes they are supposed to. So, you have to get new screws. Lastly, the actual bracket is much to big for the lock that slides through it. Maybe this in intentional, but it causes it to rattle a lot. The hole size that you have to drill for the lock is not a standard one inch, but just a tiny bit bigger, so that has to be custom as well.

I feel so much safer with this lock on my fences and barn doors. It is heavy duty for sure and seems virtually indestructible. The kit comes with everything needed to install the lock, and it is easy to do so. The lock is basically a deadbolt and makes me feel better about leaving my farm when necessary. I know that everything is locked up and safe. I am confident that this lock will hold up well under intense pressure. It is made of durable steel and will not easily break.

This was the perfect solution to lock the front door on my old School Bus conversion. The front half swings out, and the rear half swings in, and there is a large rubber weathestrip between the two. Most locks don't have a long enough throw to bridge it. I cut some metal plates to give it some extra reach and now it locks up tight without having to latch the driver's handle mechanism and crawl in from the back.

This gate lock is a little different than the others I've used and somewhat unique. It is sure to work well for security. It is easy to install and quite robust. I like the way it looks and the way it works.
