Metal threaded tips are super secure so far. Would be great as a pack to replace budget sheet tube handles. More often than not its the handle that is damaged well before the business end of a broom/mop wears out, so replacing the cheap metal tube handles with a solid wood handle can be great for getting long life out of your cleaning supplies.
