Works great on my Bouncie tracking device. And still leaves the OBD port open for diagnostic checks.

My assistant's Honda CR-V was stolen last week before the 4th of July holiday. While I know that Honda's are the number one stolen car in the US, I wanted to make sure my 2018 Jeep Wrangler JLU wasn't part of that statistic.I had a GPS tracker that attached to the OBD2 port, but I couldn't see the value in paying $10.00/mo for it after 2 years of nothing ever happening to my Jeep. Then the Honda got stolen and I knew I had to reinstall the tracker. But I didn't want it obviously showing because any thief would see it right away and simply unplug it. Plus, when I shifted or when I was trying to bring my foot back in from the footrests, it would get in the way.I wanted a simple solution and this was it. Rather than a Y splitter, where there would be a cord with an OBD2 connector hanging down, this one had a pass through that slipped onto the existing OBD2 port and then a 2' flat ribbon wire with the other port. The ribbon wire was on the left side when I plugged in the splitter, which is where I wanted it. With my black interior, it can't be seen and was easily run up under the driver's kick panel. I used Velcro to secure the tracker in place and put electrical tape around the connector on the OBD2 port so it would stay on after repeated plugging or unplugging when using a reader. It works great and to top it off, the price of monitoring went down to $4.00/month. It should be noted that I use T-Mobile's sync-up and drive module and it does more than tracking. It notifies me when the Jeep is started, the speed at which it's driven, a mileage log for tracking business miles, car statistics like gallons of fuel, distance to empty, open recalls, etc.

I’ve got a Chevy truck that transitions back and forth between a four cylinder, a six cylinder, or an eight cylinder in a never ending quest for better fuel economy. I bought an obd2 dongle to disable the cylinder count identity crisis, but I still wanted to be able the use my code reader without subjecting my engine cpu to another identity crisis. I bought this item to allow me to do just that. The plugs seem secure and of good quality, and the configuration lends itself to being accessible while being out of the way. If your ecu needs simultaneous double input, then this product might be for you.

This works great for keeping your OBD port open when running a Diablo tuner. It fits in snug and does not come loose while driving. Great product.

I bought this in combination with a GPS tracker. I already have a dash cam installed, so this cable allowed me to connect to GPS tracker and my dash cam. The length was perfect too

I’m a bit bummed out as this extension didn’t work for me. I have a Banks Pedal Monster that connects to the obd port. I also have a AFM disabler that I was hoping I could connect at the same time. I left the extension plugged in over night with the Pedal monster plugged in through so many different codes it even disabled my Manuel transmission mode on my car. Luckily all I had to do was disconnect and reconnect cars battery. This reset cars computer. Maybe it’s not meant to have 2 items connected at the same time.

Just a heads up for anyone who cut off the end of the adapter and tried to wire directly to the individual wires for an OBD radio unit or maestroRR or something. At least in mine the wires were not the correct colors. For the maestro you want pin 6 and 14 which in traditional wiring is a green & brown/white striped wire.Ended up being a green and a black/white wire which worked. In this product's wiring, they were laid out in the correct order 1-16, but were not the correct colors, so just grab the wire in numerical order and ignore the colors.Wish somewhere in documentation would say which pin = which color but i had to solve with trial and error.

Perfect length and fits well on a Mazda CX-3. Now I can leave my bluetooth OBD2 monitor and also use my scanner at the same time!

Easy to fit and does the job. Unobtrusive and the lead tucks away nicely.

I have one of those devices from insurance to monitor driving (to reduce my premium) so I got this in order to plug an OBD2 adapter without disconnecting the insurance device (so I can leave the OBD2 adapter connected all the time now). This works fine, the connectors are firm and the cable appears to have good quality.BE MINDFUL of the cable leaving the corner of the device -- you should check that you don't have anything obstructing that position of the connector on your car. My car has a side wall where the cable comes out and I had just enough space to bend the cable so it could be connected.
