If you have a gas grill you need one of these. We have one for the house grill, adding wood chips and letting them smoke whatever you are grilling really adds a lot of flavor. I bought this one to take down to our cabin, same reason. Keep in mind that there are all kinds of wood chips available, using them can be a lot of fun, adds a new twist to grilling ut.

This smoker box is stainless, so should resist the rusting I have experienced with similar boxes. It also is a good size, larger than the ones I have used previously. This allows you to add more chips which, in my experience, tend to burn away fairly quickly (wetted or not) in BBQs. A lopped wire is provided, which I guess allows you to move the box around by poking it thru the holes, but I would be using my BBQ tools instead.For the price ($9) it's certainly worth it.

I am so excited to use this next time I smoke some meat. So far we have just been putting the wood chips directly on the coals but they burn up too fast. I hope that this will allow them to smoke without catching fire and burning up!
