Needed to reposition the axle shaft. And needed to tighten up the spokes. But, other wise it was a very good buy. It's holding up to the abuse a motor gives it.

Wheel can't be made true, severe damage to rim out of box. Nothing good to say about this, poor quality, poor assembly, probably damaged during shipping. Buy this wheel if you want to spend hours on the truing stand and still have an out of round dented rim.

I bought a front and rear for my motorized bike and they feel quality, all the spokes were tight and true though I did have to loosen the axle a little. It seems they have fixed the issue where the spoke nipple holes were drilled to big. Ill update my review once they have some time on them

the axle was installed backwards and I could not get the jamb nut loose from the retaining nut even using a vice I replace the axle with a new one.

You get what you paid for it’s definitely a heavy duty rim, but the fact that the bearings needed to be adjusted because they were too tight and all the spokes were loose and I had to re-tighten all the spokes and through the rim. That’s why I gave it a three it also does not come with rim tape that’s going to be an added expense, but all in all, if you can adjust your own bearings and to, and through your own wheel. It’s a pretty heavy duty disc brake rim for beach cruisers that want to upgrade to disc brakes. So there you have it.

The wheel I received had a bent axle and was seriously out of true. The factthat BBR Tuning would sell somethingof such poor quality speaks for itself!
