It's fast, clean, inexpensive and easily maintained; it requires no gas or batteries to operate. Also, Spring Airsoft Guns are the toughest, most durable of all Airsoft Guns, because they're made with few breakable pieces. EVERY THING YOU SHOULD KNOW... starting from muzzle... box shows black muzzle, it IS orange as in the picture. Front sight is not adjustable. Hand guards can come off by removing two screws with Philips screw driver. Metal parts of sling bend easily. Carrying handle has single hole for some scopes. (Google 'acog on carrying handle') rear sight is not adjustable. Rear sight has flip for night and day. There are only four mechanical operations - triger - magazine release - charging handle - safety. You need to pull the charging handle to the rear after every shot. The stock can break easily at the contact point. The stock comes separate in the box. It was easy for my to assemble. Do NOT attempt to take it off once it's on. You risk breakage. Should there be BBs in the clip while you release it, three BBs will be loose. Last thing, keep in mind that the more careful you are with the m16, the longer it will last!

This gun has some pros and cons, the cons are that it feels like cheap plastic, the barrel is not the actual length of the real thing (doesn't really matter) and the box makes it look like you got the wrong model. The stock also has problems attaching but it eventually went on after a couple of tries. The pros are that it is an amazing prop and it fits comfortably in the shoulder. Although it has somewhat good accuracy I still don't recommend this to be used on a field (since you also have to prime it) but this is definitely more of a gun you use in backyard battles. Overall I recommend this for people who want to use it as a prop or people who like having backyard battles

Bought this as a movie prop and it looks great! It's good sized and decently heavy. As an airsoft gun it works great too. It's accurate and decently powerful. We did break the stock off, but somebody stepped right on it, and with some PVC cement it's as good as new. Cons- The banana clip isn't accurate to the original M16A1. The sling is pretty much trash. And the clip is a Max cap and is poorly designed making it hard to get bbs in the slot.Over all it's worth the money

Well to be honest it’s a really fun gun to shoot to mess around, I prefer snipers for airsoft wars but this is a good gun to have on you, most of the people I’ve spoke with about this gun is that the sling broke. It broke for me on my first war and I was salty, it’s a good gun, I had issues with the hand guard cracking but otherwise I would suggest it for a new player. Definitely not an experienced one.

This gun is really cool. I had one I ordered years ago and I shot it thousands of times, then I gave it away to a boy whose mom wanted to teach him gun safety. On this time as well, I bought the one that is the vietnam era style with the triangular handguards and it's pretty accurate at about 20 feet. shoots through one side of a cardboard box and saves the bb's so they can be used again. Looks a lot like the real thing, with exception of that bright orange tip but I've gotten used to looking at that. Shoots pretty hard for a very inexpensive gun. I've spent lots more money on things I've enjoyed a lot less. Came on time and was packed nicely in a styrofoam-cutout in a box. I like it and would order again.

I bought this for my son. . The first one was broken on arrival they did send out a replacement , The second one came in and with in a half hour it had broken also he did not drop it or play rough it just stopped shooting this gun is not worth the money or the time . Will be returning this one also never buy this product its not worth it at all

This was the first airsoft gun I got, and I have no complaints. It looks great; very realistic. (In case anyone is wondering, yes, this version is actually the a1 version with the triangular heat shield rather than the a2 ribbed heat shield version like the product name says.) Since you have pull the charging handle between every shot, I doubt this would be very good for competitive play, and I haven't tried it at long enough ranges to test its accuracy. However, for a starter airsoft gun, for playing around with or looking cool, I definitely recommend it.
