Usage Tips and Warm Note

I bought this as I wanted clear, elastic tape that I could use to hold the 'invisible' part of a dress in place. This stuff worked like a charm (it would also work for invisible bra straps). While it's not truly invisible (nothing is), it's clear and difficult to see. It's also sturdy and of the same quality as the invisible bra strap material you can get in a sewing store...just is much, much cheaper.

I use it as a stabilizer for some projects and it works really well. It’s not super stretchy like a rubber elastic. It’s a bit more durable but works well it you want just a bit of stretch and durability

I used this to add support from one side of the back of a lightweight dress to another. The dress kept falling off my shoulders and this helped to invisibly keep it in place. I also use it for hanger straps to keep wide shouldered items on the hangers and also I added 2-4 inch strips on my underwear to tuck the ends of my pads into to keep them in place. Very handy, goes thru washer and dryer well, durable and invisible.

I just got my spool of 0.06 mm thick clear elastic. The stretch wasn't great, but on par with some clear elastic I've seen in the past. I just tried measuring the stretch and it's 20-25% (10 cm of elastic stretched to 12.0-12.5) with OK recovery. I was concerned that the 0.06mm thickness was going to be too thick, but it feels like normal, sturdy elastic. The 0.12 elastic would have been way too thick for garment wear.I don't know about sewing with it, etc. But I figured other people might like measurements.

I threaded this through the camera and speaker holes on my phone case, sewed the ends; Lies flat, can charge through it makes a great, invisible security strap that doesn’t stretch out.

I use this very specifically for costume masks. I've ordered it four times, but just this last time it's no longer crystal clear like it was. The whole spool is foggy/offwhite. It's still clear but not nearly as clear as the old stuff. I rate it a three because before it would have been a 5, but now with the fogging and slightly yellow tinge, I'll have to find a new supplier so it's a 3.

I saw a review complaining about how the elastic is a foggy white instead of clear, but it’s literally just a non-stick powder that rubs right off when u touch it! The straps are still clear as you can see in the photo I attached.I got the smallest width of a quarter inch and it works perfectly. It’s not crazy stretchy (which I prefer) and is a nice thickness that wont snap if you’re rough with it

Very good quality for strapping. I needed a clear elastic to use for gathering. It was a little too thick and less stretchy than I needed for that purpose.

Easy to use, use it on clothes to reinforce shoulder seams to help them last longer. It was easy to hold in place with clips. The elastic is stiff at first so I stretched it a bit before sewing. Would not use needles with this as the holes won't close up. Great for what I used it for.

I used this elastic to make straps for a pair of slip on sandals. The elastic strap holds them more firmly in place on my feet.
