This is the best memory wire when you want silver memory wire! I won't use anything else!It's strong - never loses it's shape, never loses it's shiny silver color - although since it is silver plate you mightwant to spiffy it up now and then with a silver cloth to give it a nice shine - just like you would your nails or yourshoes! But if you're using it like I do, most of the wire won't show anyway, so it won't need to be polished it muchif at all!Make sure to use your memory wire cutters with this wire because this wire is really strong, and it can ruin yourregular wire cutters if you try to cut it with them! I make a LOT of bracelets with this wire and had to learn the hardway that my regular cutters would get grooves by cutting memory wire - so don't make the same mistake I did!Memory wire cutters aren't all that expensive - I think I got mine for about $9. Trust me, if you make a lot of jewelryit's so worth it! And memory wire jewelry is so fast and easy to make - it's even more worth it to have those cutterson hand!Silver plated memory wire costs a little more than silver craft memory wire, but you won't see the copper core - and tome it's worth it not to see the copper core when I cut my wire. If you like a high quality wire, but don't want to pay anarm and a leg for sterling, buy silver plate!This is a 5 star wire!

I find ordering of memory wire very confusing. I wish they would list dimensions. Well, here they are for large oval approximately 8 x 5.5 cm. For reference my wrist measures 17 cm.I found the product easy to cut, I used old pliers and easy to form a loop. My problem is that it's big even after putting on 8-10 mm beads. I'll add a clasp and see if that helps since the ends are about 3 cm apart.I'll take a chance on a small or medium, but the large is not for me.Update. I decided to cut the wire down to a single coil and make the bracelet smaller. While it fits better my intent was a multiple coil bracelet.

This past year has been my first experience with using memory wire for bracelet making. I like Beadalon products so, of course, that is what I bought. It is easy to work with. I generally bend the ends rather than add an end bead and as long as I am careful the result is good. My only criticism is that if I use fairly heavy beads, especially with one coil styles, the bracelets tend to hang fairly loosely and can slip off. But I think that is just a fact of life, not a product flaw. Heavier beads need a more secure clasp. The plus is that these memory wire bracelets, like magnetic clasp bracelets, are easier to get off and on for those with arthritis or poor motor skills. I made some jewelry for a blind friend and she loved the simplicity of wearing memory wire creations!

The wire was a great size to use for bracelets. The wire is sturdy enough to accommodate several beads and noodles without losing shape. I was a first time bracelet maker and was not disappointed in using this wire as my base and you won’t be either.

This was exactly what I was looking for. This size works better for me than the smaller version. The finish is highly polished, which I like. Highly recommend. Local delivery was slightly delayed, but not the fault of Amazon.
