This blender has exceeded all of expectations. I did a lot of research and contemplating before finally ordering it and it has really proven itself. The blend is smooth, quick and pretty quiet. Overall it’s sleek and modern, but very sturdy. Quality of the base feels solid and strong. The containers are also very good quality and I love the sizes, durability and versatility of the containers and the lids. The system blends everything to a smooth consistency through a smart self sense blending process. In less than a minute you have a perfect smoothie. I definitely recommend this blender. It’s beautiful and it gets the job done with an A+! Enjoy and you’re welcome.

I purchased this as a gift and the recipients love it. They use it every day and say that it's the best they've ever used.

I really wanted to love this based on the reviews. I never ended up even trying it because the containers it comes with were so massive they wouldn’t come close to fitting in a cup holder. I needed a blender where I could blend a smoothie and run out door for work with it. If the containers were average cup size, and could fit in a cup holder, I think I would have loved this blender.

This stylish little blender really is a beast. I have a Vitamix from Costco that I've used for years, and I think the power of the Beast is on par with that. For example, many vegan cookbook authors advise that you soak your cashews overnight if you are trying to make cashew milk, "unless you have a Vitamix." In one minute, the Beast makes very smooth and creamy cashew milk from unsoaked nuts, no problem at all. I was also able to make a very smooth tahini sauce from whole sesame seeds. And because it's smaller than a Vitamix, it's a lot easier to store and move around. In fact, I prefer it over the Vitamix now.I am uncertain whether it can grind grain like a Vitamix, even though the pamphlet mentions that it can. It also says to always use at least 1/3 liquid. But I've never used a Vitamix for that purpose either. I did push The Beast pretty hard the first time I used it when I made tahini sauce (which is made mostly from whole sesame seeds and a small amount of lemon juice) and when the contents became hot the blender shuts itself off to cool down. I do appreciate that. In fact, the Zahav recipe says to use ice cubes to keep it from getting hot, which I did not do. So I stuck the whole canister in the freezer for a few minutes and then the blender was happy with that. It must have a temperature sensor.Another feature that I like is that if you press in the button for a second, it processes the contents for one minute in long, frequent pulses that ensure it blends thoroughly.Initially I thought having three separate canisters was just too much, but I like having the various options for different quantities of food. The small one is great for quickly making ground spices and small quantities of sauce. And I can store them in the fridge if I want to use them later, rather than transferring it to a smaller storage container.I also think it's cool that the blade is in the top of the container when you remove it from the blender because it's so much easier to get the food off of the blades than it is with the Vitamix carafe. In addition to its stellar functionality, the design is also very aesthetically pleasing. I like the fluted surface and the smooth silhouette. The Beast is so thoughtfully designed and easy to use.The main downside that I can see is that its max capacity is about half that of the Vitamix, so approximately one quart rather than about a half gallon. But it's so rare that I actually blend that large of a quantity of food. I am not getting rid of my Vitamix, but it's going into a slightly less accessible storage space now!I hope this helps.

This blender is easily the best I've tried. I remember it wasn't so long ago that Ninja just appeared out of the blue, and now they're everywhere and make everything for the kitchen. Beast similarly came out of nowhere and has just usurped Ninja as the juice making king! I love this product that much.First, this thing is a "beast". The 1200 watt motor and base is heavy. You don't even need suction feet to keep this in place on the kitchen counter. It's that heavy. Footprint isn't much bigger than the Ninja, but this thing is a LOT more powerful. I love the bigger/wider containers and the variety of lids. This set gives you a lid for all 3 containers, so you can store stuff in the fridge without having to rotate lids. I also love the leakproof straw bottle lid.I'll be using this to make juices in the morning. I buy those frozen bags of mixed berries. I put some in the blender with some water, and I get a very healthy carb load in the morning. Also great for all the anti-oxidants these berries provide. Why is this so much better than the ninja? First, the overall design of the containers. With the ninja, I always had to grab a towel and clean up a bit of spillage when opening the lid. Haven't had that problem with the Beast yet. But most importantly, this Beast blender pulverizes all the berry seeds. With the Ninja, I always was chewing on berry seeds. With this Beast, I don't even get a single berry seed in my drink. It just pulverizes everything.Great containers, great lids, spill-proof design, and a VERY powerful 1200watt motor. I love this so much, I already have given away the Ninja to a friend.
