Perfect replacement for our 2005 Mini Cooper S Cabrio. Just remove the driver's side front wheel, reach in, unplug, remove and replace using standard 19mm hand wrench. There is no gasket, seal or washer between the sensor and the transmission. If your backup sensors stop working, check your backup lights, and if both systems are out, your switch is likely bad. A common problem.

My previous backup switch failed, apparently this is a hard / not common piece to find (napa, for example, sold me one that was supposed to fit my car, but was not the right part at all), but this one was a perfect replacement, and I now have my backup lights and sensors again on my MINI Cooper.
