I hesitated in purchasing this product due to its higher price compared to others similar. I have a 30-year old Toyota Cressida that is in perfect working order and decided to invest in this part due to its high reliability rating, welded construction, American bearings and brand name. It tool me about 2 hours to replace the part under the car in my driveway and I am very satisfied with the results. I would recommend this brand and part to anyone wishing a better more reliable product than a stamped steel one from others.

I bought a used Cressida, mx83. The seller said the only issue was this bearing. Sure enough when accelerating, a "thud bump bump" would occur right behind the transmission. I got under the car and confirmed that the part was missing most of the soft rubber, thus leaving two rings to hit eachother at high rpm's. Tried squeezing under the car to fix it myself but found the car TOO LOW to work comfortably. Took it to a shop, and had it done for 160.00 and it took the guy 20 minutes with his lift. Now driving smooth, and no more "thud bump bump" and yes more "vroom vroom". Even if it needs replacing every 4-5 years(torquey ass 7MG-E 3.0 6 CYL), worth it.
