Beduan Series hose barb reducer fitting is made of forged brass and connects two hoses.
This reducer hose barb fitting has barbed ends to create a tight seal on a hose when used with a hose clamp or crimp sleeve or ferrule(not included)
Made of forged brass for greater strength than cast brass.

I tested these fittings with a neodymium magnet and detected no magnetic attraction indicating that these are most likely brass as was stated. My order was for 5/8 to 3/8 barb, and the actual OD measurements via my Fowler micrometer are 0.6417 inches and 0.3937 inches respectively. Overall, I expect these fittings will perform well.

used it to replace the plastic union on the radiator shroud GM uses plastic and it will break at the wrong time
