I used this regulator to reduce the incoming water pressure from 80psi to 40 psi. My round ball ice maker was over flowing. This regulator fixed the issue. You will need adapters. The inlet is a male 1/4 not and outlet is a female 37 degree flare. Your local hardware store has the parts.

The fact the adjustment knob is on the back makes it difficult to adjust, also the adjustment is very touchy.

I installed this regulator inline right at my blasting cabinet to adjust pressure for different types of media and it works great.

Set pressure to 25psi, over a couple days outlet side goes to zero. Adjusted to 35psi then 45 psi and did same thing. Only setting that lets water through consistently is wide open.

Not as described. Ended up in the trash. Wasted way too much time and money trying to make it work.
