I bought this for a friend. She loved it, used it as soon as she received it. She loved it so much, I ordered one for myself. Unfortunately mine turned on and would not work.

I made an attempt twice to use this item. Each time it stop working while cutting the first potatoe, and it caused my kitchen breakers to kick on. I had to pry the potatoe out since there is no release button. I am so disappointed in this item.

My first order was a broken, used unit. And so I returned it. And I left a one-star review. But now I'm back to rescind that one-star review because after purchasing another different model from a different company, I realized what a high-quality unit this Befano really is.And so I ordered another one and the replacement was in great condition and it's just obviously superior in build quality and functionality versus other French fry cutters available at this price point on Amazon.

Tripped house breaker several times and then stopped working completely. This all happened when it was brand new. Got about 4 uses out of it before it stopped working completely.

We had to cut potatoes into two pieces before slicing them so it is too small for fast easy slicing . The slicer doesn’t seem very sturdy. Overall, the performance was subpar.

Definitely need to microwave sweet potatoes for a few minutes but it beats slicing by hand.

I plugged it in, it went forward, and jammed. No release or reverse button. It’s still jammed. Thank God my fingers weren’t in it. Too late for a return. I waisted $99!

Who doesn't like French Fries? Now we can make our own fries at home and season them anyway we want using the "Befano Electric French Fry Cutter." Fries are cut perfectly from clean, whole potatoes in less than 10 seconds. Place the fresh cut potatoes into a big bowl of water and let them sit in it for least 30 minutes which will help to leach out some of the excess starch. You could do it overnight as well! Once rinsed and seasoned to taste, then into the air fryer for about 15 minutes at 380 degrees...Yum! I highly recommend this product! :)
