I did not pay enough attention in ordering these, because the first set that I bought did not raise the chair off of the ground high enough to prevent part of the chair scratching my tiled floor. Very important you measure the exact height of your current wheeled castors to get the corrent height. I am an elderly person with a fall risk, and while I do not like not being able to move the chair around like I used to, these new castors do work perfectly on a slippery leather seated office chair. I did slide out of it not too long ago so I am commited to using these castors which will prevent this.......Another recognition of getting used to old age!!!

These were a great addition for a computer chair on carpet. Easy to install, great fit, and great price. The chair does not move like it used to so if you want it to roll this wouldn’t be a good fit. However if you want it to stay mobile, it is a great replacement!

I purchased the bell glides to replace a broken caster on a "saddle" style stool in my hair salon. We get a lot of hair on the floor so I wanted something that would not get hair wrapped around it like the caster wheels do. The bell glides are stationary but glide easily and are easy to clean. Sturdy and supportive. Made the stool easier to maneuver over salon floor matts. The height of the glides were prefect for my stool and easy to assemble. I would highly recommend at this stage.

I am still glad I bought these because I have a plastic chair mat on my carpet. the wheels were digging into the carpet a bit too much. I was afraid the mat would crack. these diffuse the weight better. Problem is they don't glide easily so harder to push in and out of desk. not a deal breaker. might glide better on a linoleum or tile floor.easy to install. very sturdy. about the same height as my wheels.

I have counter height Knoll Office Chairs with rolling wheel fixtures that caused the chairs to easily skittered away when I went to sit down, resulting 2 falls to the ground. Rolling feature was dangerous and I tried using a rug surface, but that didn't help. These Bell Glides were the perfect solution! Knoll replacement wheels 10X the price of these. It was so easy to install - just push to secure in place. Now the chairs are stationary and safe to sit on!

My mother is an old lady that just sits in the kitchen all day watching TV. Counter stools usually are just the circular stumps with little padding. Sometimes they come with chair backs. They're not meant to be sat in for hours at a time.Normal office chairs only go up to around 21 inches at max height. The only ones to the 24 inches or more of height were something called "drafting chairs" which most of them were too high, and only cloth unless you paid $200.I found a nice used leather chair locally, and decided to convert it into a counter stool. I bought the lift mechanism piston for around $30, and I switched the rolling wheels with these casters If you don't take the wheels off, if you're a shorter person, the chair will roll away. Very dangerous for an older person.The combo has worked well for me. My mother loved the chair.If you want to do this, you can do it with any office chair. Just buy a replacement lift mechanism that starts around 11 inches, plus these castors and you're in business!

These r the perfect height and fit for 2 expensive barstools that had wheels. Those adjustable barstools were fine to use when I had the bar on thick carpet but when I moved it to heavy vinyl they became dangerous. Problem solved w/these casters. You must get off your barstool to move the chair. It doesn't glide in a seated position, that's fine with me. They r heavy duty and stable. My barstools have 5 casters and these come w/5 casters per stool. Glad I found these.
