My wife got into calligraphy a few years ago and this year I purchased a custom wax press for her. Instead of needing all of the extra tools required to melt the wax I gifted this to her and it works great! She has already sealed half a dozen cards and barely used any of the wax. She loves the color choices and just the overall ease of use. Great product!

Worked well for my purposes, which is just a bit of fun on letters between friends. It dries strong, but that may because it's partly not wax. I can't prove it, but it does smell a bit like plastic when burning. Not enough that it bothers me, but the smell lingers. Lost a star for the smell and because it melts slow. I ended up just taking a light to the end instead of relying on the wick because it was SO SLOW.Tl;dr Good for fun or to be fancy, but not good enough for a professional.

We sealed our wedding invitation envelopes with all different wax colors and they were a huge hit! The wax doesn't burn evenly but I don't really consider that a downfall, just turn the stick with each use and you'll be fine! The ones with glitter in them were especially gorgeous, I got so many compliments!

I love letter writing and I use these sticks whenever I write. I love the variety, ease of use, and quality of the wax - a really hard sealant.The product(s) arrived on time, as described by Amazon & manufacturer, it was shipped without issue, arrived within prescribed estimates, the packaging was undamaged, and the product itself was unmolested and made with quality materials. Description, photograph, website presentation, and what arrived are the same-size, shape, color, and it matched my expectations.

So I really loved the color variety and they worked pretty well overall, but sometimes instead of the wax melting in drops like it's supposed to it gets kinda stringy. That's the best adjective where the drip wax didn't completely detach from the stick. Also the wax sometimes would harden super quickly before I could properly seal it, so I'd have to add more wax to have more melted wax to work with. I don't recommend these for beginners because they're sort of fidgety. Also the wick tends to burn down too close which can make them hard to relight and get use out of the whole stick.

I typically use cheaper wax sticks and there is a huge difference in quality. I was very surprised at how much better these work. Be warned, they are a little more difficult to use than cheaper varieties but well worth it. I practiced on some paper before moving to a letter I was sending. I’m glad I took the time to learn how to use this product.

Son muy bonitas y se adhieren bien al papel. Los colores son reales. Hay que tener cuidado al usar la mecha porque en ocasiones quedan trocitos de carbón provenientes de la mecha que se va quemando. Yo la corto en trocitos y la uso con la cucharita para la cera.

i love this product, i think the problem a lot of people are having is that they don’t chop it up first, i was having the same problem with the black patches but once i started melting them in the spoon they turned out perfect!
