I am 6'5" and this bench is long enough and sturdy enough to easily hold my body size and weight. I have used up to 200 lbs of weights with this bench and the bench is very sturdy. It's a man size weight lifting bench that easily folds up and is just as sturdy folded as it is with the bench sitting on the floor. Note: I use a strap to strap my weight bench up against my weight bar when not in use. You can remove your weights, put the bench in the upright position, lock it in place with a pin and then put your weights back on. I prefer just to use a strap because I don't have to worry about kids pulling on it.

I gave away an old bench years ago because it took up too much space in my apartment. I ended up missing it more than I thought I would, so I went looking for a new bench that would fold up and take up less space when not in use. There seems to be limited options for folding benches, but this seems like the best one.Assembly is always an annoying process, but I got through it here with relatively little trouble. I made one easily reversible mistake because the image on the instructions was cropped in a slightly misleading way. But the process went more quickly than I imagined it would when I unpackage the parts.I'm a very heavy person, between me and the weights we're certainly approaching the 500lb capacity, if not surpassing it. So the sturdiness of this item was a major concern for me. I can say that I feel extremely comfortable while lifting, and have zero concern if the bench can support my weight. My only complaint here is that it tends to wobble just a tiny bit at the hinge where it folds. I plan on addressing this by putting some sort of thick padding on the cross bar where the bench rests when it is folded down, but I've been using this for a few weeks now and it hasn't really been more than a minor annoyance.I wanted something sturdy and unobtrusive to my space, and I got it. When folded, the bench is 55" tall, 46" wide (or however wide your bar is), and 23" deep. It sticks out only a couple feet from the wall, and fits neatly under a shelf in my office. There is even a rack capable of holding the bar when the bench is in a folded position, so even your bar can be up and out of the way when not in use.As far as folding benches go, I think this is top of the line. Other similar benches on Amazon had a lot of reported issues, from poor support, to missing pieces. This one feels like it was designed with care and manufactured by professionals. Highly recommend.

As a bench this is pretty good for the money. Build quality seems solid but definitely not like what you'd find in a gym. It is sturdy. The bench is wide enough for me. If I was benching more then 300 lbs I might have concerns over how safe it would be but I'm lifting much less right now so I think it should be fine. But it is useless as a squat rack for me. The only way I can find to use it is from the back side with the bench down. And even then I have to sit on the back edge of the bench to get under the bar and it is tricky to rerack so I would never use this for any heavy squating. There is not enough space to back under the bar and the highest height is way too low for me at 5'10. In the video demo for this the guy doing squats is using 10 lb plates and pressing the bar over his head to get into his squats so he's not even using the bench at all. I'll give it 4 stars because as a bench it's pretty solid although I could have bought something as good without the extra squat rack feature for less which is what I would do if I was doing it again

My husband and I love this bench, we are working with a small space and bought it because it folds. There is a locking mechanism making it safe to utilize while working out. This bench has allowed us to broaden our workouts, we absolutely love it! It is extremely sturdy and can be used in multiple ways. If you’re looking for a foldable bench, buy it!

LOVE this new bench. The stancions are far enough apart that the bar stays balanced when loading weights so it is not a two person job. Nice, thick padding on the bench. And the bench folds up to save space. Only drawback is that you have to take the bar off the fold the bench up.Easy to put together. I did it myself in about 20 minutes. Solid product and well built. The grips for the bar arms are a little cheap, but they work.I would recommend this as an affordable option for your home gym.

I ordered this as a part of my home basement gym project. The place i decided to install this bench press is small (basement electrical room) so I was little skeptical first. But when I fully assembled this, it turned out to a perfect fit for the space. The assembly instructions were well written and easy to assemble with tools were provided.I ordered weight plates and the bar post the bench assembly and feel very happy with purchase.Positive Points1) The bench is made up of quality material2) It is sturdy3) Easy to assemble4) Space saving5) Seats is foldableAbsolutely recommend this to anyone looking for good quality, space saver bench press.

Decent quality and easy to assemble. I didn’t notice it doesn’t have an incline feature. Would have cost them a dollar at manufacture to do so. If you don’t wNt incline it’s a decent bench.

Whilst not sturdy enough for heavy weights, it is ideal for my needs

Firstly, customer service is excellent! I had an issue with the purchase and the seller replied quickly. What I like about this bench as compared to other similar models on Amazon is this one is sturdier (look at weight - this one us 23 kgs while most others are around 8-9 kgs).As another reviewer mentioned, there are some concerns around certain points resting weight on a single bolt or two.I have yet to test it out with heavier weights (and I doubt I'll touch the 500 lb weight for which this is rated) but I'm very pleased with the look and quality of this product.Only other point was the instructions could be clearer. Owing to small size of the diagrams and steps being difficult to follow sometimes, I ended up screwing one piece incorrectly but this was quickly rectified.Love the fact that this folds and while still quite large, I don't mind it because it gives me a sense of sturdiness that I want from a bench when I'm lifting weights. I hope this will last a long time. I will update with pictures if possible.

Great beginner bench, only issue is the squat bars are way too low. The pictures in the instructions were a bit difficult to follow, but overall a fairly straightforward building process. Feels quite sturdy and the foldable feature is great. The only issue the extender bars to do squats are much too low to refer to this as a squat rack. This could easily be solved by simply extending the length of the racks...

We have used this product about three months and are pleased with it. It was easy to assemble, and the steel bench is good quality material. It is also attractive and stable. The rubber stick on where the weight bar rests wears out quickly, but other than that I would highly recommend this product for beginner intermediate lifters. We have a 250 pound set of weights at this bench easily accommodate.
