Connect the DVI-D male end of the cable to your DVI-D device, and connect the VGA male end to your VGA display.

Note:
- This cable is used to connect the DVI-D source to the VGA Display, it could not work in the opposite direction.
- This cable is used to convert the DVI-D, the digital signal,to the VGA analog signal, it could not convert DVI-I signal to VGA signal. If your DVI output is the DVI-I(24+5) pin, please refer to the following table.

- - Not Bi-Directional - Adapter only operates from DVI-D to VGA
- - Not DVI-I Compatible - Operates only with DVI-D digital ports (DVI-D Single-Link or DVI-D Dual-Link)

This cord is just perfect!! I did get some advise from a local computer store who had this cord for $39.99 but on 6â€. I told them I saw it on Amazon for just over $10 bucks only. The Tech said make sure you get DVI-D to VGA or it won’t work. Don’t leave the D off. I got a newer monitor to use with my existing 4 yrs old computer, which still works great!

I needed to connect a VGA monitor to my desktop and only had a DVI port available. I tried an adapter on the existing DVI cable and it didn't work. I bought this and it works perfectly!

We've had this for a while, but I finally decided to give a review. When we purchased our new desktop pc quite some time ago, we needed this connection. If we had paid for an in home tech visit to set up and install the new pc, this connection would have come with their extremely high fee charges. However, since my husband prior to retirement worked in the engineering field and knew exactly what to do, he has always installed and connected our home desktop pc's. We ordered this cable, he connected it and it works great.

Compré este cable para el ordenador, ya que he incorpore un nuevo monitor y necesitaba un nuevo cable DVI-D A VGAEl cable en sà funciona y no me ha dado ningun tipo de problemas✅Ventajas:â–¶ Calidad de cable excelente, no me ha dado problemas en referente a la imagen, full hd 1080p.â–¶ Conectores dorados, los conectores bañados en oro siempre son señal de calidad en un cable de este tipo, ya que facilitan la conexión y este cable las incorpora.â–¶ Teniendo en cuenta su precio y la calidad que ofrece, es un cable con una notable relación calidad-precio.â–¶ El cable es muy duro y resistente, por lo que a no ser que lo cortes, te durará muchÃsimo tiempo.⌠Inconvenientes---------------------------En conclusión, l cable que funciona, de buena calidad y robusto.
