Important Note:
1) Not Bi-directional
- The cable is used to connect the laptop or computer with DisplayPort output, the monitor with DVI input. It could not work in the opposite direction.
2) Not Compact with HDMI port
- The cable is a DisplayPort to DVI cable, it's not a HDMI to DVI cable. If you are looking for HDMI to DVI cable, please refer to the items in following table.
Support Mirror & Extend Dual Mode
Mirror and Extend Mode Settings:
For MacOS, Top left corner Apple icon-->System Preferences-->Displays-->Mirror or Extend Displays;
For Windows 10, press Windows key + P combination command-->choose Duplicate or Extend.
For Windows system laptop, if the external monitor could not work, please update the BIOS and graphic card driver from laptop official website.

Oh, the lengths we go to for a home office setup! Bought 2x cables for my 2nd and 3rd 24" 1080p side monitors about 6 months ago. Everything was working great until recently when one of my monitors is mostly unresponsive (I say mostly because occasionally and for only 5-30 seconds it'll reactivate).I've swapped changed cables between the two monitors as well as GPU ports to check for cable, monitor, or port issue and it seems to be related to the cable.I'll be buying another because of the Value, but wouldn't mind if I could get a refund/replacement.

The port was basically normal and worked fine for 6ish months, then just stopped working. Used different cables to confirm that it was the cord, and not the monitor nor the port that was broken.

I bought this Display Port to DVI Adapter for my HP 2009m monitor to use as a second monitor for my desktop. It may be a 15 year old monitor but it looks good and still holds up today. It has been almost a week since I received the item and plugged it in. The item came in perfect condition and sealed tight in the package. The Adapter works perfectly and I have experienced no issues with the display or the cable itself. I definitely recommend this product for those looking to bring their old monitor back to life.
