I like the blue color not that I see it a lot since it is behind the monitor and behind the computer.Made it possible to hook up my oldest monitor to my brand-new computer.The company did a good job of showing the pins so I could tell what I as ordering.

Having an older LG monitor I needed both a Displayport on one end and a DVI plug on the other end of the cable to allow me to hook up to my "new" Dell Optiplex 7060. Cable works great, no complaints.

I plugged this between an old 4x3 monitor and a much more modern PC that only had DisplayPort outputs. It came up and simply just worked. No issues; none expected.The thumb screws leave a little to be desired, but thumb screws often leave a little bit to be desired.The cable itself is thin, reasonably flexible, and is covered with a fabric mesh. As such things go, it is not an unattractive cable.It is important to note that the DisplayPort end does not have a latching tab; it's just friction-fit. I often prefer to have a latching tab and consider it superior, but friction-fit is fine for many applications.

Anyone who's dealt with Microsoft inability to handle multiple displayport monitors correctly might find a DVI or HDMI connection useful. When a displayport is turned off, Windows acts as though the monitor were fully removed from the system, and rearranges desktop icons accordingly. With DVI/HDMI it does not.

Works great to convert from my computers Display port to my monitor's DVI-D port. Only 1.6ft long so make sure you don't need a longer one.
