I had been beating my head against a wall with the switch wiring after redoing my electronics and finally came to the conclusion I needed to try a new pump.I can’t think of anything on my boat that I have installed in less time with less effort.Worked first attempt at my switches, and everything is in full working order.

I ordered this pump, and it arrived just fine. I was unable to get to the task of replacing the old one on my boat for over a month. When I finally did a closer comparison, I discovered my boat uses a dual purpose Bennett pump (V351HPU13V) which has three valves (one for each tab, and one for the engine hatch). I asked seller if I could return the two-valve version and order the three-valve version, but my request was denied due to exceeding the 30 day return window (apparently no exceptions). At least I can now say I’m the proud owner of a $300 paper weight.

I think my old one was from 1989. This one matched everything Exactly. Might be the easiest thing I've replaced on my old boat...

I managed to strip out one of the fittings, but there is a cheap fix available here on Amazon

Just replaced my old unit (26 yrs!) with a new one. It was a seamless swap out, didn't have to change the hull bracket! Bennett is a great company, with an intuitive web site, and all the info you need to make the right choice.
