I purchased the rubbertail color after hearing David Ftritts discussing the action of this bait on a podcast and discussing the work that went into development.My first time out I was immediately impressed with the action. It makes a subtle side to side movement compared to most other crankbaits. I fished 39 degree water and caught a 14.5 inch bass in about 6ft of water. The rubbertail color has a natural look with a chartreuse's tint which makes it great for clear or murky water.I’m adding more of the same color to my tackle box as I expect to throw this a lot this coming season.

These lures are great for Large mouth, small mouth, crappies and rock bass. i even snagged a few Pike and Pickrel with them as well

If thread fin shad are the bait fish in your lake the bass will love them. Not sure about other colors but the honey shad works best for me.

I have had 3 of these lures and I have caught fish in all water types and conditions. I started with the Frittside 5 Jr and had great luck with it until I broke the squarebill clean off on a bad cast. Next I got the Frittside 5 (pictured above) which after the first 3 fish I caught I inadvertently modified on yet another bad cast but decided to keep using it like you see in the picture. Well needless to say the 3 fish above ate just a few of the many fish I caught that day. I was on clear water, there was a lot of submerged grass and some wind to break up the surface. I varied my retrieves and no matter what I did I was catching fish. I even caught a decent size Bream with it. I love this lure!

This has been a hard colour to get on a crankbait and it works great all times of the bass season !! Bass attack it and hooks are sharp keeping them on !!! Well done Berkley

The photo of this product is actually red craw..not spring craw. I recieved an orange coloured lure opposed to red coloured lure. Need to put the right photo on this product.
