One of the best lures for trout I've ever had. Also did well with red Drum

These are cheaper than buying them at the bait shop. Been catching lots of snook with them.

Product description is not very clear. There is a picture stating how many counts. I didn't scroll through the pictures and thought the same amount you get at a sporting goods store. Wow! Completely wrong. 5 pieces for $8. $2 more I can get 60 pieces of the same lure from Toasis.I know Gulp lures are good, but this is a bit rediculous.

Use these on dropshot rigs for halibut and they work, both white and green/chartreuse.

This is the most ridicules and overpriced fishing tackle I have ever seen, what is Berkley the new Shimano? Eight to ten bucks for three pieces of poor-quality plastic, or whatever it is? This "Gulp" crap is not ElaZtech! I purchased these because I had to have that color, but to me their flexibility is not as good as the Z-Man material and only lasts for a short period of time, especially in the heat. The materials endurance qualities are zero, and whatever you do, don't leave them out in the sun or they will shrink and get stiff as a board. Can't figure out how they can say these are 5 inch baits, more like just under 4 1/2. The only reason why I am giving this product two stars is because they have a great assortment of usable color schemes. I spent the whole day out fishing and left the top bait in the photo, a 5 inch Pearl Z-Man DieZel MinnowZ, and the bottom bait a 5 inch Pearl White/Chartreus Berkley Gulp Paddleshad out in the sun on my boat. Both baits were hooked up with a 5/0 jig head which has been removed. The bait in the middle is a new and unused 5 inch Pearl White/Chartreus Berkley Gulp Paddleshad. You can see how the Z-Man bait has kept its original shape and its flexibility but did shrink approximately 1/4 inch. You can see how the Berkley Gulp Paddleshad has shrunk down to over an inch of its original shape, this material is as tough as a piece of dried out leather, and it was extremely difficult to get it off the jig head.

Tail comes off easy and these don't last very long at all while fishing.

Purchased these to give them a shot over the Zman...but unfortunately I received a faulty batch as 2 of the 4 seemed they were burnt in the curing process as they had no action and felt hard and stiff... I rigged up a good one and caught a halibut after 15 minutes. Wish I received 4 proper paddle tails..
