I was walking around in my garden today just chopping everything with the tool. It’s so sharp. It was so easy I didn’t have to use any force. I’m sure I’m going to have to sharpen it at one point but till then it’s great. Easy to hold. Great quality. Not heavy at all.

After many decades of use, I needed to retire my old clippers. They "lost their edge" and no longer made the quick and easy cuts. This clipper has the wavy shape to it that traps the smaller stems allowing me to make the cuts once instead of two or three times. I just got it, and so far, I'm happy with it.

I bought this because I just couldn't get a straight hedge with my individual cutterThis did the trick its not as easy to get the hedge trimmed with the electric. But, it is better for me. I have too big of a yard to stretch an extension cord around

These American made shears are constructed well, look good and perform their function just as they should. Recommended for moderate hedge work and limb trimming.

For box and holly hedges, plus other minor stuff. No large pruning shear is perfect but his is as close as it gets, complete with wiggly blades to catch the twigs very well. And very sharp. With WD40 maintenance and the occasional fine honing (careful! flat side only!), it will probably last a lifetime.

The high price I paid this Berry&Bird company for these shears and a supposedly ergonomic hoe “should†mean ideal products. Heavy Duty I interpreted to me as will last. Professional. They are just heavy. These shears have nice wooden handles but an ideal pair should have had an angle to the steel meeting at the wood so you don’t have to lean over your hedge and be directly in line with what you trim. Or as a side hedging tool not need to be straight in line with it. I have a few hundred feet of hedges which I prefer the hand hedged look. Much more comfortable hedging if the blades are at a slight angle maybe 15 degrees-i do not know exactly what degrees, just not straight. I have a pair of cheap hedging tools that are miles better. So I do not recommend you pay their high price for this product.
