My two pit mixes are around 65-70 pounds and inhale everything. It makes it hard to keep their teeth clean. Every "dental" chew gets one bite then gulp. The difference in their teeth now is amazing, I'm so happy and I put them on a subscription. Here's a note for the reviewers that don't seem to understand dogs, or physics. They "crack and splinter, dangerous". They are BONES, what do you expect them to do, dissolve? When my dogs get them down to a small size or fracture a piece off, I throw them out. Dogs have been chewing bones since the dawn of time, yours will be fine."They don't last long. only a few hours". That IS a long time. And plenty to entertain your dog and clean their teeth.

My girl is an aggressive chewer. She finally found one that she can’t destroy in a day! She peeled off the coating first, and loved it (no odor no diarrhea). Every once in a while, I’ll line the inside of the bone with sugar free peanut butter. She can focus on this thing for over an hour. Absolutely LOVE these, and recommend to anyone with an aggressive chewer. *Please note, I got the natural NOT hickory smoke* These are big, heavy and a great size.

My girl started breaking this into shrads of bone with 10 minutes. Not safe when it splinters. She loved the taste but to dangerous

I was hoping these would last longer since it says they are long lasting. My dog is about 70 pounds Labrador and Dalmatian and is a serious chewer. He liked these better than the harder white femur(?) but he was set to destroy a whole one in 2 hours. I saved about a third and there are some slivers laying around that are hard for him to chew on that I will probably throw outside. I think they are too brittle from being baked.

Dry meat and size is good. Last an hour with the bones. Helps with his teeth. Smell not too bad as well

The size of the bones in the package may surprise you. The largest bone in there is almost too much for a full-grown German Shepherd who can normally eat anything not nailed down.

I need tough bones to satisfy my pitty's need to chew. These are strong but they do break off into very jagged pieces that could harm a dog if swallowed and absolutely hurt feet when stepped on. Other than that, my dog loves these and it keeps her busy for an hour or more.
