Our cover lenses are made from premium 70% CR-39 Plastic. Chloroprene rubber (CR) provides various features to the covers including good chemical stability, abrasion resistance, pitting, spatter etc. It is very useful over a wide temperature range. Great to protect expensive glass lens of welding hood efficiently.

I used these lenses to protect some #13 welding shields taped to cardboard and passed them out to the neighbors and their kiddos. They have used them to look at the solar and lunar eclipse. Now I am the "Go To" guy to make and fix other people's crap.
