These clips are very good and out of the box of 100 only two broke. I use them outdoors to hold down netting for my vegetable garden. They are super sturdy and the raccoons have not been able to get through the bottom of the netting

They aren't flat but looped as an oval on the holding end. This allows me to put on fruit saving stainless steel bag around the stems of my tomatoes. 1/2 my green tomatoes were eaten and I got the bags and these clips. I can secure the bags closed around the stems which insures they can be dragged off or that the critter can pull the tomatoes off with the bag. And they hold very well.

I like the clamps1) Thought they would break easy because they are so thin--I was wrong. They are sturdy and strong.2) Blend in perfectly.3) Can use for many projects.

At first these were great. As the gardening season progressed one by one the tension in the springs declined and several broke. I tried to repair them but they couldn’t be saved. I used these to clamp my makeshift greenhouse plastic over raised garden beds. They were easy to remove but over time on the areas with the most use. The clamps failed.

I used to use the plastic pvc holders for shade cloth on pvc hoops, but after 2 seasons they would crack. These are a perfect size for 1/2" hoops holding shade cloth or insect cloth in place. I recommend.

I held off on writing a review of this product until I could see how well these clamps withstood the cold and wet conditions of my backyard. After using them for 18 months now, I can say they are sturdier than I expected and have held up to the harsh weather I have in my zone 6b backyard. We get pounding winds, snow and lots of rain over the fall, winter and spring months. I anticipated that they would fail overtime as they rusted. However, I am pleasantly surprised. Though the joints do rust a bit, it doesn’t hinder their performance. In fact the only ones that have been ruined were those that I have accidentally stepped on! These clips are true to the details listed. They open to a width of about an inch. I use them to attach row covers to my garden beds. They do tend to tear the frost cloth, but I have learned to double over the cloth before clamping to avoid this. I am ordering more, as I have just constructed more beds this season. I would wholeheartedly recommend these clips, as they hold up well overtime when using them outdoors or in.
