The Better Sporting Dogs A-Frame is great for dogs up to 100 pounds. It is great as a tool for confidence building and learning.
Pictured here is the Better Sporting Dogs own product tester, Lucy, who is a Golden Retriever / Border Collie Mix weighing 55 lbs. She loves using her Mini-A frame, and it even helped give her the confidence to take on the full sized version!
Solid Construction For Safety & Security
Each board on the Better Sporting Dogs A-Frame is one solid piece construction. This solid construction is durable and long-lasting. You don't need to worry about the board splintering away after just a few uses. Other A-frames use multi-plank construction, which begins cracking after just a few uses.
The surface is coated with anti-slip paint so your dog can get a good grip as they go up and down the A-frame.
The wooden slats add an additional layer of security to help your dog confidently go up and over the A-Frame.
Lastly, the underside of the board is coated to enhance it's longevity. The Better Sporting Dogs A-Frame is a quality piece of equipment that should last you for many years of fun & exercise.
A-Frame Height is Fully Adjustable
While your dog is learning and getting used to their A-Frame, you have the option to lower the height of the obstacle to make it easier to learn. If the A-Frame is placed at a 45 degree angle, the maximum height would be about 29 inches. This is a great size for use at home, where you can practice for fun outside of agility class!
Using a chain & hook on the bottom of the A-Frame, you can have it unboxed and ready to use in your agility practice in under one minute. This also means that when you're done practicing agility, you can store it flat & out of the way in no time at all.

Got this to practice contacts with my 2 shelties. I have a small yard and wanted something small and easy to move. This little contact trainer is well made, and both my dogs love practicing on it.

It seems well made enough. I’m not dissatisfied for the price, but I didn’t realize it was smaller than the full size A frames. It should be labeled half sized or mini or small or something so that people aren’t blindsided when it arrives.

It is exactly what the picture looks like and does what it says it will do. The dog loves it and I love the dog! We are both happy with the Agility A-Frame...

This is a great addition to an amateur dog agility course. The height is adjustable so you could have less height until the dog gets used to it and then steepen the pitch. Other ramps I’ve looked at were probably twice the price with similar functionality. My dog already loves it.

Very small for the money chihuahua. Size I have doberman. Not worth the money in my opionion
